Najla Ahmed’s profile on Sky Art’s online gallery

Najla Ahmed is a fine artist from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She has spent thirty years in fine art between teaching and training. She studied under a group of distinguished female supervisors, including Hanan Al-Juhani, Hamida Fatani, and then the great professor Hisham Panjabi.
Her love of drawing began in elementary school, and her skills developed through many art courses and workshops.
Naglaa leans to the abstract school of fine arts, after leaving the realistic school. With her paintings, she touched on heritage and highlighted popular art in an abstract, expressive way that combines crystal and precious stones in an attempt to confirm the traditional identity of southern Saudi Arabia with a contemporary touch.
She participated in many local and international exhibitions.
