Amira Azmy is an Egyptian innovative fine artist, based in UAE. She paints with a passion for painting since her childhood. She paints using a variety of mediums, including watercolour, oil, acrylic, ceramics, and glass. In addition, she has created several murals in different places. In her academic career, she worked as an ART teacher, KG teacher, and children psychologist, but she never stopped painting.
She believes Art is an essential tool to express thoughts and feelings, to feel and show the beauty of nature and man-made architecture, to represent people, culture, and tradition, and to spread joy and happiness. It is a therapy to heal and meditate.
Mrs. Amira has a psychology degree and completed Certificates in Painting and in Interior Design and has been awarded multiple certificates for participating in several art exhibitions and events all over the UAE. She is from Alexandria, Egypt, and lived in England during her childhood. She Has been living in Abu Dhabi Emirate for the last twenty years and recently moved to Sharjah.
