Khawla Bu-Ali is a self-taught Bahraini artist. She had been painting since childhood, but she took a break after marriage.
She started her journey with painting portraits in pastel colours, then she switched to a variety of painting styles with acrylic colours on canvas and her artworks are mostly focused on Bahraini traditions and portraits.
She participated in many group exhibitions in and out of Bahrain.
Khawla is a member of Bahrain Art Society, Arab 22 for Fine Arts and Sky Art 195.
