Zakia Mohammed Al-Battashi is a visual artist from the Sultanate of Oman. She started drawing since her childhood. In the beginning she started with oils and then moved on to pastels. She developed her art skills by following artists on Instagram.
Zakia says “Nature is rich in scenery, such as mountains, seas, hills and beautiful green lands”. Therefore, her art focuses on nature.
She participated in seven exhibitions in Oman and one abroad.
She created a team called Various (Artist’s Corner) of 25 male and female artists. Her goal is to introduce art of all kinds, present the beautiful nature of Oman, encourage young talents, and spreading art everywhere.
Zakia is a member of Arab 22 for fine arts & Sky Art 195.
